About Us

Bai An Education was created to take you to the next level in your Chinese Study. We've expanded on those subjects that people need the most, and yet, seem to be at a loss as to how to say it. Here, you will learn, by choosing the subject you want, then going into it, like no other software out there.

The Original Flash cards were created by an animator and Student of Chinese. After studying Chinese for a few months, he realized that there had to be an easier way of learning the basics. Too many books, and tapes, go about giving a student either phrases to parrot, or random objects to memorize.

The method is to study the things that interest YOU, and to do it in detail. Picking subjects and studying the parts, using a picture, and the pinyin, will give you an advantage in class. At the time, he was creating his own cards on a computer, and printing them on card-stock. Now they are professionally printed by a game card manufacturer, and ready for your edification, as well as transformed into a fully customizable software package.

But Flash Cards were not the end. Having the cards, allows you to study at random. You could pull the cards out at any time. When so much time spent on Subways, busses, Taxies, and carpooling, this is perfect moment to get a few quick self quizzes in. But when the words are totally new, it would be nice to HEAR them spoken. This was the seed for the Bai An Education Software.

After looking at the other software packages out there, it was evident that most of them looked at language study as a "Basic Phrases" form of study. Bai An Software lets you learn as you did when you were a child. Through games, and object identification.

This is excellent for students, teachers, boyfriends, travelers, anyone who wants to know a little more then what has been out there in the past. Each section contains an open study, testing, and games, to help you on your way to becoming more fluent in Chinese (Mandarin)!

Several Native speakers have donated their time, and knowledge to the packages listed here, in hopes of seeing more students of Chinese speak more precisely.
