These cards were created by an animator and Student of Chinese. After
studying Chinese for a few months, he realized that there had to be an easier way of learning
the basics. Too many books, and tapes, go about giving a student either phrases to parrot,
or random objects to memorize.
The method was to study the things that interested him, and to do it in detail. Picking
subjects and studying the parts, using a picture, and the pinyin, gave him an advantage in class.
At the time, he was creating his own cards on a computer, and printing them on card-stock. Now
they are professionally printed by a game card manufacturer, and ready for your edification.
There are 52 Cards in the deck.
The cards are sturdy, and laminated, to make them water resistant. They come in a cardboard
tuck box, with the subject printed on the cover.
On the cards are English, Chinese (Mandarin, Simplified) character, Pinyin, and a picture.
